Proprietary Payloads on Open-Source Platforms

Project Overview

We actively collaborate with humanitarian-focused hardware projects. Our primary partner is developing a low-cost, open-source drone platform for medical delivery in Rwanda.

What Tacita Builds

We develop advanced, proprietary sensing payloads. These payloads need real-world testing on actual flight platforms. By using our partner's open-source drone, we get a proven development environment to accelerate our R&D on technologies with commercial potential.

How We Collaborate

We develop and test our proprietary payloads on their drone platform, and in return we provide system integration, assembly, and testing expertise to help advance the open-source project. This collaboration keeps our commercial R&D separate from the humanitarian mission while both projects benefit from shared engineering effort.
