Work / Legal
The matter turns on three documents. There are three thousand documents.
Thirty matters open. Each one a record too large for one person to hold accurately. Each one a deadline that does not move.
The junior, the paralegal, the second-counsel — at a large firm these are three people. In a boutique they are you. The chronology still has to be built. The disclosure still has to be combed. The pleadings still have to be drafted. The precedents still have to be found. The work does not get smaller because the firm is.
Tacita does the work.

The work
Review. Every document in the matter, read end to end. The relevant separated from the not. The privileged identified and held back. The corpus turned into a working surface you can move across at the speed of thought.
Analysis. A chronology built event by event, each entry traceable to its source. Names normalised, every variant of every party reconciled to one entity. Issues mapped to the documents that touch them. The structure under the matter, in plain view.
Drafting. First-pass pleadings, advice memos, agreements, submissions, in the form your firm produces. Every assertion tied to the document or authority that supports it. The first draft you would have produced if you'd had the day to do it.
Synthesis. Everything you have read, mapped, and drafted, brought together at the level of the matter. Whether you advise, settle, close, or amend, the chronology, the issue map, the drafts, and the authorities are kept with the position.

Examples
Four examples, anonymised.
A two-paragraph brief about a matter. A folder of ninety documents. Emails, lease agreements, court filings, agency correspondence, a damaged-property report. Five minutes later, a chronology of sixty events on the desk. Every event traceable to one of the ninety. A directory of thirty parties, every variant of every name reconciled. The work of two days as a paralegal, returned before the next meeting.
A subpoena lands Monday. Thousands of emails and documents from a decade ago to review, classify, separate, log. The privilege calls held back for counsel. The production set assembled to schedule. The response that would have taken the three days nobody had, returned in the afternoon. Makes the $50 conduct money sting a bit less.
A target with four hundred contracts in the data room. Customer agreements, supplier MSAs, leases, employment contracts, IP licences, financing documents. By morning, a schedule of every change-of-control clause, every assignment restriction, every exclusivity, every MFN, every uncapped indemnity. Each entry pinned to its source clause and page. The disclosure schedule started, not from blank. The work of a week of associate review, returned overnight.
A capital raise that closed Friday. Forty executed documents — subscription agreements, shareholders' agreement, side letters, board resolutions, ASIC forms, legal opinion, secretary's certificate. By Monday, the closing bible: every document indexed, Bates-stamped, categorised, with a complete schedule of parties, conditions satisfied, and outstanding deliverables. The associate weekend that used to be inevitable, returned in the time it took to draft the cover email.
Most matters do not need to be brought to us as samples. They are brought to us as work. Tacita does the work.
